When I downloaded it, it advertised itself as a vocabulary builder, which it is great at. Though sometimes the sentences are arduously long for the format they are presented in (could just be German though), and those sentences are less useful. Also it feels like there isn’t a lot of continuity when making the language “packs”, so one will have a…university and another a campus, where both pictures are strikingly similar and easy to miss. There’s also a technical issue where it keeps logging me out and not saying anything for up to three days, thus not recording any progress (which I have to redo) and messing up my streak.

This is a fun way to learn basic Spanish. Not expensive for what you get. Solid purchase.

I love how fun and progressive Drops is. I have learned many languages, and this is the best language app / learning modality I have encountered yet!

I like the learning strategy in Drops much more in Duo. Both have plusses and I've enjoyed both but i like the repetitive learning in Drops more

I really do think the app is great for learning languages. However, the limited time you have for not having a subscription is really unideal. You’re limited to 5 minutes a day so I do think there’s a better app out there for learning languages.

This app freezes within 5 seconds of opening and it’s extremely slow and annoying to work with. I enjoyed the lesson and format, but once I completed my lesson time my app freezes within seconds of opening it. I wish i was able to like it, but this bug is really frustrating. On iphone 12 pro max

I love using Drops! I love how it breaks the words down into sections so you can pick and choose the words you want to learn for when you are in a situation where you need words pertaining to a certain thing.One thing I don’t like tho is that you only get five minutes every ten hours to do a lesson. If you could do it whenever it would be so much better than just every ten hours! Overall great app tho!

App tends to lock (freeze up) after every word! Worst learning app I have ever seen! I cannot imagine how this passed Quality Assurance. Spot on QA team there!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

There are some translations that people have said are iffy, like kamiesta as shirt instead of damit. But if I could pay, I probably would.

I love this app, the cheerful sounds, and the helpful repetition! One thing: the widget stopped working properly with the most recent update, if you use a «tinted» customization in iOS. It is just a white square. It works fine otherwise.

Just committing 5 minutes can make a difference in picking up phrases and words. I love the other languages too. I hope to use some of them one day when traveling!

The pictures along with the vocabulary words and terms are really helpful. Upgrading is really affordable right now. But you can manage with just the five minutes a day. I have learned vocabulary quicker with this app and I remember more.

This is amazing I learned Tagalog I did 45 minutes a day starting in 7th grade and by the time I got to high school I was fluent. I am now a junior in high school and I can talk to my Filipino friends fluently.

I think the app is good, but I believe that there should be a family version with different profiles so each member can go at they own pace. I would pay more for that if it was an option.

Most useful for expanding the vocabulary next to material teaching grammar. Also helps with learning useful phrases

Here are some suggestions that you really gotta add in. I’m not sure why they aren’t in. Hope you consider these. Planets: Mercury, Neptune, Pluto Weather: Cloud, Lightning Colours: Orange (No excuse why this isn’t in. It’s such a common colour.) Countries: Vietnam, Vietnamese, South Korean Others: I blink, I see, Confused, Gravestone

I love seeing the fun images with the words, it really helps with the learning since I am a visual learner. They put a lot of effort into the illustrations and they have improved the quality over time. Hoping for many more years with this app.

Why is it only 5 minutes per day, how am I supposed to learn stuff fast, I moved to the Philippines a little while ago and I want to talk to family and friends, I’d like you to extend learning time limit to 30 minutes, and let me learn at anytime.. and I’m not willing to pay for premium. On the good note, it’s easy to learn, and it’s fun to get competitive in multiplayer though I don’t know if they’re real lol, but I don’t like the time limit, if you devs read this please increase it and let us learn at anytime, I have school and I can’t use the app all the same time everyday, and I also have house chores.

my parents speak Tagalog and when I said the words that were taught to me on the app they said it was good.

English & Spanish speaker training Portuguese. Voice capturing an answer is not accurate or user friendly. Maybe design team thought it was more intuitive than I found it, but in my opinion they could stand to gain from researching their competition. Pictures can sometimes be a bit confusing, perhaps vague for certain words. Decent concept though & I can train daily on it without as many ad interruption as some of the other language aids. Thanks

I bought the life time version and it’s so easy and fun to use! Will recommend it to some friends and really entertaining. Best part is that I don’t need wifi to use the app!

Overall a decent app however a new feature that has you speak a word you have learned is abysmal on a good day. It has a poor capacity to understand verbal communication. For example it has failed me six times to say the word ‚du‘ in German. Really hard to mess this up but it does. This is one example of many. Suggest to remove or improve this feature as it adds more frustration to people trying to learn.

I like the structure of the lessons; the presentation makes it easier to remember new vocabulary. But watch out for verbs! In Hebrew it often presents characters using the wrong gender verb endings. Another suggestion: it should be possible to get to the advanced levels more easily — or at least see what’s available before the trial period ends. I’m not buying based on hope that the advanced levels will be correct and appropriate.

Let me start by saying that this app is a great idea for building vocabulary. the pictures help a lot. however, the app is extremely buggy. I have an iPhone 13, which isn’t new, but it certainly isn’t old enough to have this app crash this often. there was a long period of time where I legit couldn’t even open the app. it’s extremely disappointing, because the app itself is awesome. but it freezes and crashes and is extremely slow to load.
